Terms & Conditions

STUDENT REGULATIONS

Effective from September 1, 2025

1. Monthly Plan and Enrollment Conditions

  • Availability: The monthly plan is available for residents and requires the completion of the Enrollment Form and the payment of the Enrollment Fee/Annual Insurance (€20).
  • Payment of Monthly Fee: The monthly fee must be paid by the 8th of each month, regardless of actual class attendance. Partial payments are not accepted, except for the first month of practice, if the student starts classes after the 15th of the month.
  • Compensation for Missed Classes: Students with active memberships can compensate for missed classes with any instructor during the current month or up to the following month, as long as that month is also paid.
  • Exemption from Monthly Payment: The student is entitled to two months’ exemption from the monthly fee for reasons such as holidays, illness, or prolonged absence. If absent for a longer period, the student will need to pay for a new enrollment.
  • Student Discount: Students up to 25 years old are entitled to a €5 discount on the monthly fee.

2. Trial Classes and Drop-ins

  • Trial Class: Trial classes are charged a fixed fee of €20. If the student decides to enroll in the monthly plan immediately after the trial class, the enrollment fee (€20) will be waived.
  • Class Packs: 5-class packs (for €70) are valid for 3 months. The class pack card will be kept at the studio, and the student must inform the instructor at the start of each class in order to use the class.
  • Drop-ins and Pack Cards: Students using drop-ins or class packs do not need to enroll but must complete the Liability Waiver Form.

3. Student Responsibilities

  • Hygienization of Materials: Students are responsible for cleaning their personal materials (mats, balls) after use.

4. Civil Liability Insurance

Azores Yoga is covered by a civil liability insurance, which protects against damages caused to third parties during classes held at our premises. This insurance ensures that, in case of incidents resulting in personal or material damage to third parties, legal responsibilities will be met in accordance with current regulations.

5. Enrollment for Special Activities, Events, and Workshops

  • Payment for Enrollment: To secure your spot in any activity, event, or workshop, payment must be made by bank transfer, in full, by the specified deadline for each event.

6. Cancellation Policy

  • No Refunds: If a student is unable to attend the event or activity they enrolled in, no refund will be issued.
  • Credit Usage: The paid amount may be used for another activity, event, or workshop within one year from the original enrollment date. The student can transfer the credit to another enrollment, subject to availability and prior communication with the studio.

7. Cancellation Notification

  • Early Notice: In case of cancellation, the student must notify the studio as early as possible. Although no refund is possible, the studio will do its best to accommodate a transfer to another activity or event of equal or lower value.

8. Exceptions

  • In cases of force majeure (health problems, unforeseen emergencies, etc.), the studio reserves the right to review the situation individually and may, at its discretion, authorize a refund or transfer to another activity.

Participant Responsibility

We recommend that all practitioners are aware that, despite the safety and prevention measures in place, practice involves risks. It is each participant’s responsibility to ensure their own well-being during classes. The studio does not accept responsibility for any damages or injuries that may occur outside the scope of its civil liability.
